Your Impact

As the Health Promotion Officer – Workforce Engagement, you'll be an integral part of our Injury Prevention Business Unit! Your mission? To supercharge our injury prevention efforts with engaging, professional development events and activities for industry professionals. You'll be spreading the word on injury prevention far and wide, making sure everyone is informed of emerging issues and empowered with the relevant knowledge and skills.

About You

You will have at least two or more years of experience designing, planning and implementing public health programs. If you enjoy and are energised by organising and running quality events, then we want to hear from you. It would be highly regarded if you have experience building workforce capacity and have worked alongside the following community groups:

1. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
2. People of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
3. Regional communities.

Ideally, you will possess a tertiary qualification in Health Promotion, Health Science, Social Marketing, Community Development, Behavioural Sciences, or another related discipline.

The technical bits

This position is 1 FTE, 75 hours a fortnight and is based in our Leederville office, however some intrastate travel may be required. At times, you may be required to work outside of regular business hours. You will also be required to provide a current satisfactory Police Clearance, and a Driver's Licence is necessary.
