Wes.Jobs is a dedicated Employment Provider that specialises within the Yuggera region in connecting Indigenous Australians with job opportunities that align with their skills, interests, and values. Our mission is to create opportunities for Indigenous communities and support the development of a strong Indigenous workforce.

We offer a wide range of services, including job search support, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and access to a diverse network of employers. Our clients have the opportunity to participate in cultural and community events, and receive ongoing support throughout their employment journey.

We are committed to reconciliation and to closing the employment gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. By working with our clients to build their skills and connect them with meaningful job opportunities, we aim to contribute to a brighter future for Indigenous communities.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a huge part in providing personalised job search assistance and career development support to Indigenous job seekers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with resume and cover letter writing
- Providing interview preparation and coaching
- Building relationships with employers who value diversity and inclusivity
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of job market trends and available opportunities
- Offering ongoing support to clients throughout the job search and transition process
- 3 days Mt Gravatt Office and 2 days Woodridge Office

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

- A deep understanding of Indigenous culture and values
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in career counseling, job search assistance, and/or human resources




- A passion for promoting diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
- A commitment to making a positive impact in the Indigenous community
