We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is skilled in developing impactful traditional and innovative strategies and cultivating stakeholder relationships, with a strong focus on hands-on involvement in delivery of the bottom line and leadership to inspire and drive team performance.

As a respected community pillar, Vinnies WA is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged individuals facing challenges in Western Australia through established community support services including emergency relief for essential items, financial services and counselling, mental health services and homelessness support.

Our Fundraising, Partnerships and Philanthropy team plays a crucial role in driving vital funding for these community programs and services.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Social Enterprise, this role oversees the Fundraising, Partnerships, and Philanthropy team with a strategic and hands-on approach to revenue growth.

- Permanent full-time
- Located in our modern office facilities in Canning Vale and eligible for hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities include:

- Manage and lead the Fundraising, Partnerships and Philanthropy team, fostering professional development and driving performance.
- Active hands-on involvement in key fundraising, partnership and philanthropy strategy delivery.
- Develop and manage strategic plans, KPIs, and operational plans to boost engagement and revenue from supporters and increase results in planned giving.
- Effectively manage and monitor budgets, contract negotiations and risk management to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including new and potential donors and high-potential partners, ensuring alignment with organisational values and strategic goals.
- Manage and nurture these relationships to deepen understanding of Vinnies' impact, secure long-term support, and achieve financial objectives.
- Negotiate and monitor partnership agreements to ensure they align with strategic objectives.
- Assist in identifying, preparing and submitting high-value grant applications and develop a successful PAFS strategy to maximise revenue.
- Collaborate with teams to manage and increase revenue from major appeals.

About You

You have demonstrated success in:

- Establishing and managing partnerships and complex relationships, achieving substantial financial outcomes with strong commercial acumen.
- Building professional networks, developing and delivering relevant business plans aligned with commercial objectives.
- Influencing and negotiation with experience in developing and maintaining effective networks and relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Working effectively within a large organisation with multiple stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing strategy and process to identify and leverage mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Managing and facilitating teams, defining outcomes and providing feedback and support, encouraging ownership to meet agreed, high performance outcomes and performance goals.

Your skills and experience include:

- Tertiary qualification in a related field, which can provide advanced knowledge and strategic insights.
- Considerable experience in a senior role, leading bottom line growth across diverse income streams, ideally in the not for profit or similar environment.
- Strategic and tactical thinking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer software and tools (e.g. MS Office and CRM systems).
- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one) and a current Drivers License.
