About the role
We are assisting our client with the search for a Service Manager to lead a team delivering exceptional services to residents at one of our client’s Community Supported Residential Units in the South-West.
The role is an important leadership position and as such you will have the responsibility for ensuring the effective management of the unit’s service delivery, budget, staff and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Service Management: Leading the team to deliver safe, high-quality, best-practice mental health services according to program requirements. Drive cultural excellence, compliance, quality frameworks and strive for continuous improvement.
Relationship Management: Stakeholder collaboration to optimize service delivery and share best practices.
People and Performance Management: Oversee employee recruitment, performance, training needs and the manage employee development.
Finance and Budgeting: Oversee financial management, including budget compliance and expenditure authorization including reporting to the GM.
Leadership: You will lead from the front demonstrating your values-based leadership and promotion of an open and productive culture.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing or similar
- Team leadership experience ideally in a complex service delivery setting, preferably in mental health or related fields
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in change management,
budget management, and stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrates courage in leadership and maintains cultural sensitivity and respect.
Other Requirements
- Be able to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
- Valid WA driver's license
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Ability to travel to Perth during the first few weeks to meet with all the key stakeholders and occasional travel for meetings (at the organisations expense)
- Be prepared to be on call (allowance provided) once every 7-8 weeks
