As Abcare continues to grow and expand an exciting opportunity exists to join Abcare in either Coffs Harbour or Grafton as a Youth Worker for our Youth on Track (YOT) program. The position will be responsible for the delivery and continued improvement of Youth on Track service and program implementation of Aboriginal, young people and their families as early intervention and diversion from the Justice system.

Youth Workers will provide case management via ongoing support and monitor young people within the Youth on Track program. Promote pro-social behaviour through a range of adaptable and culturally appropriate supports to young people involved with or at risk of involvement with the Justice system. To empower young people and their families to achieve change in the young person’s behaviour and safety, through the provision of case management, cultural and practical supports that builds on the young person’s strengths.





The position is 38 hours per week that requires the ability to work independently and flexibly to meet the needs of the clients in Youth on Track.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Working with Children Clearance and be subject to National Police check.
