The role:

Working closely with and reporting to the Applications Manager, you will ensure the maintenance of defined service levels for the Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) and other enterprise applications by providing customer focused, high level specialist advice and support. You will provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework.

In addition to this, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring end to end service delivery for Queensland Health enterprise systems by establishing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with other technical domain specialists, application specialists and end users.
- Providing timely application support activity reports to the system sponsor and users.
- Assisting in the ongoing development, maintenance and deployment of application specific guides, work instructions and technical documents.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your ability in the provision of high-level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications. You will also have a demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes and ensuring service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT/Clinical Business environment.

Your application should also highlight your ability to use your well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to build and maintain relationships across a range of stakeholders including technical specialists, application specialists, vendors, and end users.

Previous experience working with one of the below systems is preferred:

- Medical devices and their integration into medical applications
- Interfaces between applications (HL7 messaging); HBCIS, JCAPS, Rhapsody, Cerner Millennium
- Microsoft Operating Systems and solutions
- Enterprise printing solutions
- Cerner Millennium Applications
