Role Summary:
The Pricing and Performance Analyst is an exciting opportunity in our Pricing and Performance team within Customer Business Unit (CBU) based at our Perth CBD office.
The Pricing and Performance Analyst provides analysis, insights,
and decision support to optimise financial performance in line with Synergy and CBU objectives. The role will have a deep understanding of CBU financial performance and key drivers to support the development of pricing and portfolio strategies and the improvement of gross margin.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Understand and maintain CBU cost stack drivers across all platforms
- Deliver portfolio performance insights from the analysis of market drivers, risks, and business activities to support commercial decision making
- Provide analysis and develop models for assessing pricing strategies
- Evaluate Customer financial performance against forecasts and strategic targets including budget variance analysis
- Determine and report root causes and drivers for year-to-date variation on monthly basis
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics, or related field
- Proficiency with modelling and analytical tool sets, accompanied with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant experience in financial and economic analysis, business performance evaluation, business intelligence and reporting.
- Commercial acumen and appreciation of risk management
- Proven ability to present data to enable data-driven insights and fact-based decision making
