Job Description

This role is available in Sydney.

We're currently looking for a qualified Associate to work within WT as a leading cost consultant on major construction across all sectors: commercial, retail, residential, mixed use, infrastructure and health. This role is responsible for performing various Quantity Surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and providing accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen focusing on proactively maximising value for our clients.

This role is responsible for:

- Attending and facilitating client and consultant meetings
- Assigning project tasks and responsibilities
- Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
- Implementing and ensuring commercial processes are being adhered to




- Providing commercial support to team members
- Implement and maintain Quality Assurance processes
- Proactively identifying issues and problems within projects and deploying solutions efficiently
- General Quantity Surveying duties as required to support service levels
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
- Building, mentoring and management of a team of Quantity Surveyors and Cost Engineers
- Identifying opportunities to develop new business with existing clients

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary

qualifications

in a relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal
- High level of competency in cost management and planning software (Cost X preferable)
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and maange stakeholders at all levels of project delivery
- Membership with appropriate professional industry bodies highly regarded
