You Impact

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you will be a team player, who is versatile and willing to support our centres and children when and where required.



You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

You will achieve this by:

- Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
- Complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team

- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
- Contributing to a professional and positive work culture

We would love you to have

- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA recognised qualification
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
- A passion for delivering child-led fun and play-based programs to help our children learn and grow!

In addition, you must have:

- Right to work in Australia
- Strong communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Flexible availability
- Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Proof of immunisation against:

- COVID-19– three doses
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella
- Whooping Cough (Pertussis)
