Hays Technology in Brisbane are currently working with a fully integrated national law firm that has been in the industry for almost 50 years, offering both corporate and commercial and private client legal solutions.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Analyst with an interest in Data Reporting to add capabilities to the existing commercial team to assist in driving towards improving the firm's financial performance and reporting systems.

This is a permanent role , looking to commence in October/November and located in Brisbane.

Your new role
As the Business Analyst, you will play an essential role in the implementation of continuous improvement strategies focusing on technology use and automation.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead meetings and workshops to provide end to end solutions including specification and design, estimation and planning, testing and support




- Assist in the development of the firm's practice management and financial systems by proposing changes based on requirements -gathering and analysis
- Liaise with business users as required, maintaining a high level of service within all aspects of the individual's work acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems using SQL
- Build reports on tools such as SSRS

What you'll need to succeed

- 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in simplifying complex data concepts into digestible portions for a diverse audience at all levels.
- Ability to analyse, design, develop, test, and debug complex reports using SSRS
