We are looking for a talented and motivated Credit Manager to join our team and help us drive our mission forward.

As a Credit Manager at Cloudfloat, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit assessment process and ensuring that all loans are approved in accordance with the company's lending policies and procedures; while also taking control of the debtor management process, including reporting and maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally.

Ideally as Credit Manager you will use new data and techniques for credit portfolio management and improving credit quality.

Responsibilities

- Review credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of businesses
- Manage credit risk by proactively monitoring credit limits
- Analyze data and behavior's to improve credit models and overall portfolio collections
- Manage, evolve and oversee repayment and collections processes, systems and activities
- Create and maintain reports on key risk metrics, concentrations,



and satisfactions of the loan portfolio
- Anticipate regulatory risk by regularly monitoring the regulatory landscape.
- Proactively monitor and identify changes within key metrics and trends diagnosing problems and identifying opportunities for improvements and corrections
- Prepare industry analysis as well as annual and interim credit reporting
- Review, maintain and establish credit policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure the collection of debts by the due date, maintain positive cash flow and mitigate bad debt exposure/risk management
- Financial forecasting and practice due diligence
- Prepare regular reports against KPI indicators and reports for the sales team and credit committee as required within the Credit Policy and Framework
- Proactively manage and lead the relationships with other departments of the Sigma enterprise
- Provide guidance and use your decision making authority to make decisions with respect to managing a customer’s trade or isolated debt accounts
- Gather and review data to evaluate and approve credit applications

About you

- Min. 6+ years of experience in a credit risk management role, developing and testing credit models and/or managing credit collection processes
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of business models,



financial accounts and credit bureau data.
- Experience with auto-approval models and risk scorecards.
- Team leadership experience with demonstrated people leadership skills, with the ability to guide and coach others to succeed
- Strong ability to manage and guide customer relationships
- Analysis of complex information, identification of errors and gaps
- Familiarity with credit scoring models and risk assessment tools
- Experience in developing credit policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Exceptional written & verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and self-motivated way of working
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS PowerPoint / Google Slides
