The Role
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator (CA) to join our client, you may have completed a graduate program with a T2 or T3, this would be highly regarded. The CA is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the project’s contractual management requirements are met to ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Your first project with our client will be in the final stages. The next project you move to you will be given more responsibility and will be the Primary CA on the next project. Our client would like you to proceed your career with them.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Scope and set up all packages
- Develop, manage and maintain trade letting schedule
- Administration of RFIs (Aconex)
and update Design team on weekly status
- Effectively manage all subcontractors, suppliers and consultants (setting up Agreements, issuing notices, procurement, variations, etc)
- Prepare head contract progress claims in conjunction with the Project Manager
The Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Accounting/Finance or related discipline
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, clear understanding of financial reporting
- Exemplary organisation and administration skills
- Understands the importance of Safety in the Workplace (our clients uses HammerTech.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills including robust negotiation and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and ability to assess and manage risks, meet deadlines, deliverables and contractual obligations
- Thrives in a team environment but able to work autonomously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry related software packages
