We are looking to hire a confident Data Analyst to join our productive team at Australian National University in Canberra 2600, ACT.

Classification : ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package : $86,960 - $100,098 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms : Full time, Continuing (Contingent Funded) (until the 31 Dec 2023, with possibility of extension)

The Position

The Data Analyst plays a key role in demonstrating CEAT’s contribution to supporting and sustaining an innovation ecosystem and evidencing institutional changes in research culture that enable ANU to work effectively with industry to address agri-food challenges. The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- collaboratively working with all members of CEAT to maintain and evolve our CiviCRM and our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Framework;
- for implementing and maintaining CEAT’s Data standards framework;
- contributing to the development of appropriate evidence and data collection methods (quantitative and qualitative) and analysis work with CEAT program teams;
- optimising the CEAT CiviCRM to integrate with other relevant analytical and visualisation tools and platforms to create a compelling narrative of CEAT’s value to the university, the region and the nation.

The Person

To excel in this role you will have extensive experience in a similar data analyst role and will demonstrate:

- excellent interpersonal, communication,



and writing skills to work effectively with our team and stakeholders and to communicate evidence of our work through cogent visualisations and reporting;
- knowledge and experience of data management practices, data relationships and data modelling with the ability to learn and navigate various data environments and interpret and apply policies, procedures and legislative requirements to manage risk and compliance;
- analytical and problem-solving skills and a high degree of attention to detail, with a proven ability to use initiative, investigate issues, collect and analyse data and make influential recommendations on solutions;
- highly developed computer skills, including proficiency in using the MS Office suite and experience with online data management systems. Advanced skills in MYSQL, R/Python and BI or other programming languages that support sophisticated data visualisation.
