We are looking for

- Ability to manage multiple projects and activities with non-negotiable timeframes and requiring high quality outcomes and deliverables.
- Provide design, implementation and support solutions for data collection tools & systems for Intensive Care NSW & within the ACI.
- Providing education, advice and support to Intensive Care Services in the development and maintenance of local Intensive Care databases and collection tools as required

What You Will Be Doing

The Intensive and Urgent Care Data Manager will undertake advanced statistical and data analyses of intensive care information that will lead to strategic improvements in the quality of Intensive Care Services across NSW. The Intensive Urgent Care Data Manager will work collaboratively with the ICNSW Director, ICNSW Network Manager, ICNSW staff to provide comprehensive data analysis services to support the work plans and research projects for ICNSW.

Remuneration : $119,348.00 $136,057.00 per annum (pro rata) excluding superannuation

Selection Criteria / Questions

- High level skills in data collation, validation, and interpretation to support a high level ability to undertake complex integration and analytical techniques using multiple data sources.
- High level computer literacy including expert skills associated with developing and using large databases and programming, including the ability to manipulate and integrate datasets from multiple sources.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation, including the provision of written of detailed reports.
- A broad understanding of web and client server information technology such as PHP and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work collaboratively and negotiate with others to design analyses that will assist in informing and recommending decisions regarding recent approaches to health service delivery.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
