ABOUT THE ROLE:

JRM Hospitality is currently on the lookout for a highly talented Executive Chef looking for a new challenge in 2023 and make their mark on this Yarra Valley Property.
Our client is a well-established family business and a leading name in the world of wine making and are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef with a proven track record in premium restaurants to take the reins at their stunning Yarra Valley Property.

Working closely with the owners of the business, this is a hands-on, senior leadership role that comes with a great deal of responsibility and autonomy. The successful candidate will have proven experience cooking at the highest level but more importantly is an accomplished leader of people, able to build a high performing team, nurture young chefs and deliver results through others.

Responsibilities:

- Design, creation and final execution of multiple menu offerings




- Financial accountability to meet budgeted P&L; objectives including food and labour costs
- Collaborate with key?internal?stakeholders to?optimise?business performance
- Actively foster and support a positive working relationship with all stakeholders
- Mentoring and inspiring your team, identifying future leaders and fostering a culture of excellence
- Develop and implement partnerships with service and product providers that are mutually beneficial and provide a competitive edge?and can align to?organisational?values
- Working closely with management, monitoring financials and ensuring all business objectives are met or exceeded

About you:

- A leader with both creative and analytical?capabilities
- Proven track record in a similar environment, hatted, Michelin Star or equivalent level
- Able to produce premium quality dishes at significant volume
- A great leader with a proven management experience across small and large brigades
- Agile, detail-oriented, able to produce amazing food with authenticity and flavour
- Exceptional communication skills & excellent attention to detail
- A can-do attitude and ability to lead from the front
- Creative flair, a love of food and a drive for excellence
