Job Description

Are you handy on the power tools? Are you a natural problem solver? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same? Join our dedicated Maintenance team as our new Handyperson!

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for assisting the Maintenance team with the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotel rooms, facilities and common areas.

Your experience and skills include: ​​​​​​​

- Relevant property maintenance and preventative maintenance programs is an asset (ex. fix door locks, room safes & room air-conditioner; sand pumping, laundry issues and other maintenance issues)




- Plastering & painting skills highly desired
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely over the radio
- Reliable and trust worthy to work autonomously
- Physically fit, with a get-up-and-go attitude
- Understanding of the importance of completing tasks in a safe and presentable manner
- Able to deal with guests and provide excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays
