Permanent part time shifts available
As a Lifestyle Assistant at Villa Maria, you will play a central role in supporting enriching leisure and social opportunities that support our residents to live a satisfying life. You will develop, implement and evaluate a wide range of social and leisure programs driven by the interests and needs of residents.

Care plan development and capturing the unique stories and personal preferences of residents will be core to your understanding of their needs and their desire to participate in activities of interest to them. You will also work closely with families and volunteers as well as other clinical staff, to mentor and provide guidance when facilitating leisure activities and encouraging meaningful interaction.
What you will bring to the role:
- A fabulous attitude!
- At least 3 work day availability each week
- Excellent program development and facilitation skills
- Outstanding people person skills and the ability to relate
- Strong documentation and experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
- Passion to inspire people to live their lives with purpose and meaning
- A belief that every life can be enriched through possibility
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
qualifications
or equivalent (desirable) or a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar
