Your new company
A community focused and award-winning Lodge is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to add to the exceptional team on a permanent live-on basis. This hotel/lodge incorporates all the best elements the tip of Australia has to offer including historical sites, beautiful scenery and is known as the launching pad for all visitors to the surrounding Northern Peninsula Area.

As the Lodge Manager you will lead a team who is passionate about delivering friendly and exceptional customer service. With poolside views at the restaurant, varying accommodation offers and vibrant atmosphere, your new company has an importance on service, collaboration, and development.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for maintaining assets, maximising financial performance, managing and encouraging community development, all Lodge operations, team managing and recruitment, and ensuring a high standard of service is always upheld. You will also oversee the management and development of the Restaurant team, tour groups, returning guests and front of house duties. You will be an enthusiastic individual, who has a personable leadership approach, forthright communication and is passionate about people.

In joining the Management team, you will work and communicate efficiently across all departments to ensure a professional, friendly,



and hands on management style is provided. This exciting opportunity is looking for the right individual to enhance, develop and create spectacular experiences for the guests and your team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar, fast-paced role. To maintain and enhance customer satisfaction within the organisation, your passion for people will play a critical role and you will have:

- Current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- Relevant Hospitality/Hotel Management formal education
- Previous experience with Property Management systems, use of Site-Minder is advantageous
- Effective time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Community minded focus when carrying out day-day operations
- Ability to work and problem solve under pressure
- Demonstrated management experience leading a team
- To successfully train, guide and mentor the team, a hands-on approach to your leadership style is a must have.
