CASUAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

We are currently seeking a casual Physiotherapist to join our friendly Allied Health team.

Hunter Valley Private Hospital is the oldest working private hospital in Hunter area and specialises in a range of surgical, medical and rehabilitation services. The successful applicants will join our physiotherapy team covering a caseload of inpatients and outpatients including neurological, orthopaedic, amputee and geriatric rehabilitation, acute medical/ orthopaedic surgical patients and aquatic therapy.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Registration with AHPRA;

Demonstrated positive communication skills and well developed interpersonal skills;

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team;

Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Relevant clinical experience in hospital rehabilitation.

Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads;

Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

We are conveniently located at Shortland - a short drive from the Calvary Mater and John Hunter Hospitals with direct transport routes to Lake Macquarie, Central Newcastle, and Hunter Valley and Nelson Bay areas.
