- Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for six months
- Base salary range: Level 5 $73,982 – $81,999 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

About the team

Development and Alumni Relations [DAR] oversees the University’s alumni, philanthropic and community strategies. The function works collaboratively across the University to embed philanthropic and engagement activity into the University’s operations. The core responsibility of the team is to lead and build on the University’s alumni, donor and community relations to advance the University’s goals.

About the opportunity

As the appointee you will, under general direction, consult broadly with internal stakeholders to coordinate process improvement projects within DAR. You will focus on two special projects and initiate planning, development and implementation as follows:

Project 1: Undertake a broad internal review of coursework scholarship programs, contributing to workflow improvements and renewing philanthropic commitments.

Project 2:



Undertake imperative data collation and CRM updates for the Trusts & Foundations portfolio. This will involve relationship mapping of our major prospects to aid cultivation and CRM data capture to aid transparency of opportunity.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate :

- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Relevant experience managing projects in complex large organisations, preferably within the Development and Alumni Relations context
- Demonstrated experience in finding solutions to complex process and workflow challenges
- Highly developed written and verbal communications skills with the ability to compose and deliver reports and recommendations
- Highly developed planning and organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with colleagues across organisations to achieve collective success.
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
- Ability to work independently, lead projects, show initiative, problem solve and work productively as part of a team
