Flip is a member company in a group of companies that fall under the FMH Group. Alongside Flip we have various transportation, 3PL, and 4PL companies. The Operational Excellence team works across the entire group.

We work flexibly 4 days a week remote and 1 day working together in front of whiteboards in our Moorabbin or CBD office. In addition this is a group level role so at times there may be interstate and within Victoria travel requirements.

The mission

To help in the discovery, planning, managing, evaluation, and improvement of our internal systems, tools,



practices and processes to ensure we are effective and efficient as an enterprise. You and your team research, gather and analyse complex data and business processes to identify trends and develop a backlog of prioritised recommendations for improvement. You then help to discover and deliver these improvements.

The role

As a member of this newly created team, you will identify critical constraints within the business and deliver kaizen and waste reduction improvements to remove those constraints whilst focusing on quality and operational excellence.

Working across the business and empowered by the leadership team, you will define and simplify existing operations and improve overall usability and stability of processes across the FMH Group.

Additional skills you might have

These are not compulsory but they will help

- Basic scripting skills. e.g. VBA for automating MS Office workflows, Python for extracting and manipulating data for your own analytical needs. SQL for searching through and analysing data.
- Advanced Excel skills. e.g. You know how to structure, model and present data efficiently.
- Systems configuration. e.g. You are comfortable reading the manual and learning how to configure systems like Salesforce to increase adoption and efficiency.
