The Production Technician will perform tasks involved in the production of blades and barrels for cutting equipment. In addition on ensuring all materials, tools and equipment are on hand, the role is also responsible for picking up defects and deviations. Forklift operation and welding is required on a daily basis.

Production
• Ensures all materials, tools and equipment are on hand.
• Contributes to the overall goal of excellent customer service, DIFOT (deliver in full on time).
• Carries out general production activities associated with the production of blades and barrels.
• Provides responsive and timely resolution of on line defects/deviations.
• Provides prompt attention to breakdowns to maximise equipment uptime.
• Ensures efficient utilisation of equipment.
• Provides prompt attention to breakdowns to maximise equipment uptime

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:




• Trade certificate in a technical or mechanical discipline and/or experience gained in a production/manufacturing setting
• Experience in MIG welding and OXY acetylene braising
• Forklift licence
• Experience in general repairs/servicing of workshop equipment
• Fitter machinist experience preferred
• Demonstrated computer skills
