Excellent opportunity for an experienced Management | Property Accountant to work on a strategic client account in our Property Management Division.
The role:
- Prepare monthly reporting packs, including balance sheets, profit and loss analysis and variance commentaries
- Accurately present monthly financials to the clients
- Prepare and process cash and accrual related journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
- Liaise with and provide support and guidance to Property Managers and other internal stakeholders in relation to the financial and management reporting requirements
- Effectively manage key internal and external relationships
- Exceed client expectations by adhering to requests in an efficient and timely manner.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience in a property and finance related field with experience relating directly to property financials highly advantageous
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or related field; a CPA/CA OR equivalent preferred
- Full understanding of accrual accounting; managing large property portfolios consisting of either commercial, retail or industrial sites
- Excellent communication skills and possess a genuine commitment to customer service
- Strong knowledge of property accounting software, (MRI would be advantageous) as well as advanced Excel skills.
