Current opportunity

Working with BDO's risk-based audit methodology, you will provide independent assurance, professional advice and practical solutions across a broad portfolio of clients & industries. While overseeing a diverse range of engagements, you will receive the opportunity to facilitate the supervision & development of junior team members, with the continuous support and guidance from Managers & Partners.

In your day to day tasks you will:

- Execute audits of listed company, large private company and not-for profit clients ranging in size and industry
- Identify & communicate risk areas to clients
- Develop audit strategies & drafting of audit plans
- Group audit instructions & documenting control environments




- Review files around technical accounting & audit requirements
- Draft management letters & audit completion reports
- Prepare & review of statutory financial reports
- High level of client service through on-site client visits
- Coach and mentor junior staff and build internal relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed

- Relevant external audit experience
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Strong report written communication and exceptional attention to detail
- Solid collaboration skills, and enjoys coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Committed to quality service & client relationships.
