The position is part of the Fire Legislative & Regulatory Policy team, which leads strategic reform, develops legislation, policy and appropriate implementation tools. In this role, you will work collaboratively with key partners within and externally to DEECA, playing a lead role in key reforms such as the Code of Practice for Bushfire Management on Public Land and a review of fuel management legislation.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification(s) in public policy, law, natural resource or environmental management or similar is desirable.
This is an ongoing position.
The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
