The Role Our company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in DevOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet or exceed industry standards for quality, reliability, and performance. You will also be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and deployment of these solutions through automation and infrastructure management. You will be expected to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. What you'll do Design and develop software solutions that meet or exceed industry standards for quality, reliability, and performance, with a focus on seamless integration and deployment through automation and infrastructure management Establish and maintain best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing methodologies, documentation requirements, and DevOps processes Evaluate new technologies and tools and make recommendations for adoption or improvement, with a focus on improving automation and infrastructure management Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure the development of high-quality software products that are seamlessly integrated and deployed Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation through the implementation of quality metrics, process improvements, and knowledge-sharing initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise product requirements and ensure successful delivery of software solutions that are seamlessly integrated and deployed Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to quality standards,



with a focus on DevOps practices and automation Experience in building and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or similar Understanding of security best practices and ability to design and implement secure software solutions Your background Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on DevOps Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions Experience in automated testing and continuous integration practices Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc. Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, or other JavaScript frameworks Experience in designing and implementing scalable and fault-tolerant systems Strong experience with database design and development Familiarity with up-to-date web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Knowledge of micro-services architecture and experience in building scalable micro-services-based applications Experience with Agile development methodologies and software development best practices Our Perks & Benefits We consider our people one of our most important assets - and we want our team to love their working lives!
