Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for multiple Software Developers (level 3) who hold a current TSPV security clearance.
The Software Developer will be required to develop, integrate, support and sustain software applications employing an Agile Software Development Methodology (SDM).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience in Java, Python.
- Data extraction, processing and leading into repositories (ETL).
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop software using a variety of software languages (Java or Python) and development environments, to ensure it meets business requirements.
- Deliver scripting using a variety of languages and secondary skills
- Deliver data processing and data engineering outcomes4. Adhere to and improve software engineering processes.
- Contribute to and support leadership efforts to improve engineering processes.
- Identify system interdependencies and liaise with other system stakeholders to resolve conflict and coordinate integrated solutions.
Contract terms: 12 or 24 months from commencement.
Location: Canberra based.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 3.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
