Seeking an experienced Welder in Geelong - Workshop based Position!
Your new company
This fabrication company is responsible for the fabrication of medium and heavy structural steel. Due to an increase in workload across Geelong, they currently require an experienced Welder to join their hard working team.
Your new role
Ready to jump on the tools? As a Welder, you will be working with a team of Welders and Boilermakers across Geelong. You will responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, operating and maintaining power and welding tools and interpreting welding specifications.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have worked in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is key. Previous experience as a Welder will ensure you can jump straight in, with the backing of the following:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or similar)
- Ability to pass a welding qualification test
- Experience in MIG, TIG, STICK welding
- Experience working with stainless steel is highly advantageous
- Ability to read welding procedure specifications
- Valid Driver's licence and transport
