Pride Auto Group is a well-established 4x4 Equipment, Roof Racks, and Car Accessories company that is locally owned and operated across 3 locations in the ACT.

About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the fitting/installation of aftermarket vehicle accessories to the retail, trade, and dealer network.
Applicants will ideally have great mechanical skills as well as a sound knowledge of automotive fitting principles, auto electrics, and an interest in the 4WD Industry.
Your role as an Accessory Fitter will include but not be limited to
- Fitting of a very broad range of automotive aftermarket accessories to a wide range of both off-road, recreational passenger, and trade vehicles
- Installation of electrical upgrades (dual batteries, spotlights, and UHF radios)
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely manner and with the greatest respect for our customer's vehicles
- Suspension upgrades
- Helping the team achieve the store's customer satisfaction, revenue, and profit targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
Perks and perks
The positions are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm however these hours can be negotiated with the right candidate.
No weekends and public holidays off.
Above award rates (rate dependant on experience + Superannuation), annual leave loading as well as on-the-job training and staff discounts.
Skills and experience
The successful candidates must be able to prioritise their workload, work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service. An interest in 4WD suspension, accessories and an outdoor lifestyle is preferred.
Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
- Well developed automotive fitting and/or mechanical skills obtained in a workshop environment
- Ideally some auto electrical skills or experience
- Great attention to detail
- A very strong customer service ethic
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Drive and ambition to grow and develop within the business with the potential for career progression and development
