We're seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team. As an Apprentice Greenkeeper, you'll be assisting in maintaining the high-quality golf course and grounds, ensuring they're kept in top condition for our members and visitors.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Greenkeeping team in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the golf course
- Undertaking general grounds maintenance duties such as weeding, pruning, and planting
- Operating and maintaining a variety of gardening and landscaping equipment
- Ensuring the golf course and grounds meet high standards of presentation and safety
- Attending TAFE one day per week to gain qualifications and develop skills in greenkeeping and turf management
What we're looking for
- A keen interest in gardening, landscaping, and the maintenance of outdoor spaces
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills through a 4 year formal apprenticeship program
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
