Geelong & District Boiler Service is an established company with 30 years of experience in the boiler service industry based in Geelong. We provide routine maintenance, breakdown and installation services to a wide range of industrial and commercial clients throughout Victoria.
We are seeking a Boilermaker/Maintenance Fitter to join our team.
This role includes being involved in all aspects of boiler programmed maintenance, repairs, installations and breakdowns to our growing customer base. The applicant will need to be reliable, trustworthy and responsible, with a professional customer-based attitude and a strong attention to detail displaying an ability to work in a team environment and also independently.
You will be involved in providing services in the following:
- Routine and annual programmed maintenance.
- Onsite repairs, servicing and support.
- Maintenance,
fitting and repair of steam and hot water plant equipment.
- Fabrication, repairs and installation of pipework and equipment.
- Maintaining, testing and fault finding of steam and hot water plant equipment.
- Maintaining customer records, documentation and service reports.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification.
- Experience with welding Arc/Mig/Tig.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Ability to be available for overtime as required, including adaptable work schedules.
- Ability to be available for occasional emergency after hours work.
