Harvest steel framing is a full-service steel frame fabricator dedicated to build and improve residential and light commercial structures. Our services consist of prefabricated steel trusses, floor joists and stud framed walls tailored to suit all kinds of needs and requirements by the client and complies with BCA and relevant Australian Standards. Applicant must have:

- Certificate III in carpentry or above
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified carpenter
- Proficient in interpreting, reading, working from architectural working drawings, structural drawings, framing layout, shop drawings, etc
- Planning the sequence of work to be performed based on drawings with project timelines
- Coordinating the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
- Conducting, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood or other materials, including steel frameworks for buildings and other structures
- Measuring,



cutting and shaping steel framing materials according to specifications by using hand and power tools safe and effectively
- Ensuring efficient utilization of resources and minimize waste.
- Ability to install walls, joists and roof trusses with precision and attention to straightness, square and level
- Assembling and installing pre-cut and pre-formed steel framing components according to design specifications
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to ensure work proceeds smoothly
- Strictly following safety protocols and regulations on-site
- Conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment
- Ensuring all work meets company standards and regulatory requirements
- Effectively communicating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate activities and resolve issues
- Adapting carpentry techniques to work with steel framing systems, integrating traditional carpentry skills with up-to-date materials and methods
- Staying updated on new techniques, materials and tool relevant to steel framing construction
