We are seeking Communications Technicians for site and customer facing operations.
You will be providing service and support to customers both onsite and in the workshop In Rockhampton. You will
work across third party integrated technologies, serving Surface
and Underground mining customers.
Rosters available include 7days on 7days off / 4days on 3days off /5days on 2 days off.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain radio frequency (RF) equipment.
• Read and write RF transmission and reception systems
• Deliver RF Solutions including Coaxial Cable Termination
• Testing and splicing fibre optic cables
• Fault finding in all types of communications systems.
• Bench repairs on electronic equipment.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Electronic and Communications or equivalent.
• Focused on delivering quality work to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Mine sites experience (desirable)
• Working knowledge of communications technology and the mining industries
(desirable)
• Valuable time management and punctual
