What’s it all about?
Conveniently located at our Melbourne Branch in Dandenong South we are looking for experienced Electrical/Mechanical or CNC Fitters to join the team of staff responsible for servicing our customer’s machine tools (Including conventional and CNC machine tools, CNC laser cutters, fabrication and workshop equipment) via warranty, preventative maintenance, and break-down repairs.
What will you need?
The ideal candidate will be trade-certified, and experience in a similar role. In addition to this, you will possess the following characteristics:
- Experience with Industrial Machinery.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot faults and establish repair options.
- Ability to machine and manufacture minor components.
- Sound knowledge and experience in servicing electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and drawings.
- Knowledge and experience in machine tool alignments and accuracy.
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulics.
- Current driver’s licence.
Electrical knowledge,
plus experience with electronics and PLCs would be beneficial. An ‘A’ grade electrical license would also be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be confident in the use of computers, and willing to adopt a flexible approach to working hours when required.
