Hinterland Aviation, a premier regional airline in Queensland, boasts its Head Office and Heavy Maintenance division situated in Cairns. With a dynamic fleet featuring 15 turbine-powered aircraft, we are at the forefront of aviation in the region.

As we embark on an exciting phase of expansion, we are seeking a self-driven and meticulous General Hand to become apart of our team in this full-time position in Cairns

Flexible working roster. Choice of 4 days on, 3 days off, or a 5-day roster.

Work will include:

- Hangar and tooling maintenance and cleaning
- Aircraft cleaning and presentation
- Assisting the Engineers
- General duties

Successful candidates will need to have:

- Eligible to obtain an ASIC (Australian Security Identification card)
- Reliable and able to work unsupervised
- Positive work ethic and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn




- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Successful applicants must have a commitment to safety and employment is conditional on satisfying aviation security and screening procedures. Must hold a current Australian driver's licence.
