The QLD branch conducts work at various sites throughout greater Brisbane with our main customer base in the Brisbane CBD. Our office is located in Tingalpa.
About the role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an General Hand / Warehouse Assistant to work with our Operations team.
If you’re a handyman or tradesman looking for a change, this is the perfect role for as you’ll be able to utilise your skills. Problem solving is an essential skill you will have, and you will need to be competent in using power tools as it’s common for projects to require alterations to joinery or fittings. Having a builder/handyman background would be highly regarded.
The role is diverse,
and will involve a high level of coordination, planning, and scheduling. You will be in charge of conducting recent installations of interior gardens for our clients, day-to-day movements in our warehouse, and scheduling for a small team.
A current forklift licence is required as the role will involve loading and unloading deliveries.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation and removal of indoor plants & containers
- Loading and unloading of trucks/conducting forklift operations
- Collating paperwork for Office staff to administer (where required)
- Set up and assist with deliveries
- Carrying out stock counts
- Carrying out basic warehouse and yard maintenance tasks
- Housekeeping and cleaning of the Warehouse area
Requirements:
- Forklift Licence
- Must be able to drive manual
- Competent in operating power tools
- Highly organised and reliable
