Our client based in Hemmant handle the tanning, currying and finishing of hides and skins into leather. We are currently seeking either experienced or inexperienced process workers/general hands to join the team!
Casual Job, Monday - Friday Role. $28.46 an hour
Day shift available 6am start- 8 Hours Daily
About the Job:
- Work with others to lift and move 20+ KG hides
- Use a knife to trim
- Basic warehousing duties
- Assisting in the treatment of the product (dipping the hides into a saline solution)
- Other duties as required
- Work in a team environment
What we are looking for:
- Physically Fit Be able to lift 20 + Kgs daily
- Team Player
- Prepared for dirty work
- Comfortable working with animal hides
- Reliable
- Own reliable transport and current driver's license
- Two work related referees that are contactable (last 5 years)
- Live within 30mins of Hemmant Southside Brisbane
- Must have the work rights for full time work in Australia and be able to prove it.
