About your organization:

About your role:
The Senior Developer BI is responsible for designing and developing high quality technology solutions. The role works closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements and aligns these with the University’s direction. They will be part of the Business Intelligence support team. They will be responsible for all aspects of Data Acquisition and Ingestion using AWS Stack (Lambda, DMS), Where Scape Red ETL tool & Data Virtualization Tool Denodo.
- Responsible for establishing Data Ingestion patterns and Acquiring data using AWS Lambda functions and DMS from disparate source systems and Securing data in AWS Data Lake.
- 5+ years of designing and implementing solutions
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Developing AWS Data Lake or similar Cloud Platform
- Robust SQL and Python experience
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Data Warehousing / BI Projects
- Exposure to AWS Services supporting Data Analytics is an advantage
- Experience in Snowflake will be highly considered as a bonus
- Extensive experience in data warehousing (RDBMS and OLAP) development including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support
- Highly motivated with a positive and proactive approach, and a demonstrated ability to take accountability for delivering quality outcomes working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent inter-personal and written communication skills with the ability to write quality technical documentation.
- Knowledge of BI Tools like PowerBIis is desirable.
