About The Role:
The Biomedical intern will support the Biomedical team with day-to-day operations, maintenance, and development of our cardiac diagnostic devices and systems. This internship will provide hands-on experience in a fast-growing global health-tech business, offering exposure to both technical and operational aspects of biomedical engineering within a clinical diagnostics environment.
What You'll Do:
- Shadow testing, calibration, and quality assurance of cardiac monitoring devices (e.g. Holter monitors, ECG equipment).
- Support troubleshooting and resolving device-related issues.
- Contribute to documentation, data entry, and reporting for compliance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Biomedical Engineers on ongoing projects and research initiatives.
- Assist with logistics and preparation of biomedical equipment for global distribution.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives within the team.
- Support inventory management, including stock take of biomedical devices and spare parts.
About you:
- Currently undertaking a Biomedical Engineering (or related discipline) degree.
- Strong interest in medical technology and diagnostics.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Available for a 3-month placement (full time or part-time depending on study load).
