Volunteer Visitor â Share a Cuppa and a Chat in Ingleburn
Could you brighten someone's week with friendship, conversation and companionship?
An elderly lady living independently in her own home in Ingleburn is looking for a volunteer to visit and spend some quality time together.
She enjoys:
- A good chat over a cuppa
- Talking about travel adventures, especially cruising
- Crafts and creative hobbies
- The company of her beautiful ragdoll cat
This chance would suit someone who enjoys relaxed conversation, sharing stories, and building a genuine connection with an older person.
Preferred visit time: Around 11:00am on Saturdays
Just one hour of your time can help reduce social isolation and bring joy, companionship, and meaningful connection to someone's life.
No special skills requiredâjust a friendly nature, a listening ear, and a willingness to make a difference.
Interested in becoming a volunteer visitor? We'd love to hear from you!
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
