Office Administrator/Receptionist

The Department of Genomic Medicine is a comprehensive genetic service providing diagnosis, counselling and support to adults with a variety of genetic disorders. We provide multidisciplinary outpatient clinics for diagnosis, risk assessment and risk management, with a team of clinical geneticists, genetic counsellors, and genetic nurses, as well as committed specialists in medical and surgical disciplines appropriate to support that clinic.
Your new role:
The Office Administrator will work closely with the rest of the admin team, clinicians, genetic counsellors and associate genetic counsellors to:
- Ensure our patients and their families receive an excellent service
- Ensure a smooth patient journey through our service from referral, booking, registration, clinic admin and billing
About You:
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical clinic setting
- Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
