Our Role
Join our dedicated team in a dynamic and supportive role as part of our Education Support Staff (ESS) in our Junior School. Beginning in Term 1, 2025 we have a part-time role working over 5 days per week. At this stage the role will be approximately FTE 0.8, however the exact hours are still to be confirmed. You will be supporting a prep aged student with a physical disability. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming ongoing in 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting a student with their learning and engagement in activities either individually or in groups situations
- Facilitating communication between students and teachers and aiding in the interpretation of instructions
- Providing general support and care for our students
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to program evaluations
- Supporting student involvement in a variety of settings including classrooms, playgrounds, excursions, and sporting events as required
- Preparing and managing student resources and equipment
- Promoting and ensuring inclusive practices and student independence
- Uphold our Child Safety standards and policies at all times
- Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College,
contributing positively to our community.
Successful applicants will:
- Hold a valid Employment Working With Children Check
- Have experience and passion in supporting students with a physical disability

- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be a team play, with strong communication abilities
