Knox Private Hospital is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our General Medical Team on a part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

About us

Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

Our theatre complex has recently grown to 15 theatres including a Day Procedure Centre, Hybrid Theatre and supports a range of acute specialties including General, Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgery.

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Deliver safe,



researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN

Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy

Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:

Authority to Work in Australia

Working with Children check

Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)

Previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in a Hospital environment is essential

Commitment to Quality Patient Care

Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

Able to work of our rotational roster in this part time role

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025" (salaries range between $31.14 and $34.62 per hour)
