Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love creating memorable dining experiences, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate duties to kitchen staff.
- Lead by example and set a positive tone.
- Assist with menu preparation.
- Ensure adequate supplies for service.
- Communicate menu changes to restaurant team.
- Maintain presentation and cost control standards.
- Implement and maintain stock control procedures.
- Supervise apprentices in food prep.
- Ensure mise en place is prepared as required.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and cleaned.
- Assist with roster preparation and cost-effective staffing.
- Report any issues to the Executive Chef.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Passion for delivering exceptional food with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to work well in a team and support junior staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (relevant certifications are a plus).
