Your Role as Disability Support Worker





You’ll deliver person-centred services across disability settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:

- Performing personal care, domestic duties, assistance with meals and medication

- Providing In home, centre based and overnight respite

- Enabling social and community participation

- Assisting in implementing client-specific programs to encourage independence whenever possible

- Promoting individuals well-being

What We’re Looking For

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent/relevant

- Proven ability to work in a team environment to build collaborative relationships with individuals who have a disability and their families

- Demonstrated compassion and respect for individuals with a disability, colleagues, and visitors

Essential Requirements

- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)

- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy

- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Card

- Current First Aid Certificate
