Enrolled Nurse - Ward 1K Palliative and General Medicine

Location: Auchenflower, just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City
Remuneration: $36.57 p/hr - $40.93 per/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital

You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes for those receiving active treatment and as well as end of life palliative care.

As an Enrolled Nurse in Palliative and General Medicine, you’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care to our patients by working collaboratively with your nursing and multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.

What makes a difference for us?

- Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in Palliative and / or Medical Oncology setting




- Diploma of nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements
- Desire for ongoing professional development
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic setting to ensure positive and safe patient outcomes.
- Availability to work across a fortnightly rotating roster across all shifts
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
