The Opportunity
A hands-on role for a commercially minded Finance Manager to own and scale the finance function in a growing business. You'll manage day-to-day finance while building processes, improving systems, and supporting strategic decisions. Clear pathway into senior leadership as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Cash Flow
- Own AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and supplier payments
- Lead credit control, debtor management, and working capital optimisation
- Implement credit policies and manage financial accuracy
Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Manage BAS and statutory compliance
- Maintain strong controls and optimise finance systems (Xero)
Commercial Finance
- Oversee commissions, rebates, and incentives
- Provide insights on pricing, margins, and performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
Process & Growth
- Build scalable processes and improve efficiency
- Establish reporting cadence and operational discipline
- Support future finance team growth, including offshore capability
About You
- CA / CPA qualified
- Strong SME finance experience in a hands-on role
- Proven credit control and cash flow management skills
- Commercially sharp, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Leadership potential with ability to influence stakeholders
