Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Laundry Attendant at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort! In this essential role, you'll sort and collate incoming linen, operate washing and drying machines, and manage the ironer to ensure high-quality results. You'll collaborate with various departments to meet daily linen requirements and maintain accurate records of linen quantities.

Your commitment to cleanliness will help keep our laundry environment tidy, and you’ll play a crucial part in logging food and beverage linen and team member uniforms. Additionally, you’ll ensure chemical supplies are stocked for room attendants and assist in preparing linen trolleys each day.



Be a key player in our exceptional hospitality team and help us provide a memorable experience for our guests.

Qualifications

- 6+ months of previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is an advantage (but not required)
- This is a physically demanding role and requires you to be physically fit and able to perform the role requirements.
- Good verbal communication skills for liaising with various departments.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
