Job Description
- Part-time (3 days per week) | 12-month maximum-term contract
- Based at Ringwood and Ferntree Gully, with outreach across Outer Eastern Melbourne (Wurundjeri Country)
- Grade 2, hourly rate based on experience
Are you passionate about supporting the development of young children and building the capacity of those around them?
Join Each as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, where you’ll work as part of our Child Development and School Readiness teams to empower kindergarten educators and families. Through coaching, group training, and case consultation, you’ll help improve children’s motor skills, self-regulation, social-emotional wellbeing, and overall inclusion – setting them up for success in their early learning journey.
Your role, your impact
No two days will be the same! In this role, you’ll:
- Partner with educators and Department of Education and Training staff across Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges
- Provide practical, evidence-informed support to improve developmental outcomes for children
- Deliver a mix of outreach at early learning centres and clinic-based services from our Ringwood East and Ferntree Gully sites
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, and Dietitians
Who we're looking for
- A relevant qualification and AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children, families and early years settings, ideally in a capacity-building model
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standard (NQS),
the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), and developmental milestones
- Strong skills in coaching, training and consultation
