Your Role as a Physiotherapist
You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:
- Provide high level physiotherapy services to customers presenting with a wide range of disability and functional needs
- Deliver individual and group services, balancing direct treatment with supervised therapy to enhance the customer experience
- Work across services and sites within WMQ dependent upon service requirements.
- Complete accurate assessment and review of physical needs of customers, and to provide a consultancy service for a range of activities to a wide range of customers.
- Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required.
- Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer.
- Ensure that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning.
- Ensure that positive and professional relationships and rapport are developed and maintained with customers.
This is a Fixed-Term position until 04/01/2027. The role is also Part-Time and consists of 23 hours per week.

What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with staff, clients, and families
- Exceptional communication skills and a focus on patient-centred care
Essential Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
